Avantus sells Catclaw Solar and Energy Storage Project to DESRI

Avantus has announced the sale of its Catclaw Solar and Energy Storage Project to D.E. Shaw Renewable Investments (DESRI). Situated in Buckeye, Arizona, the Catclaw project includes up to 225 MWac of solar power and 250 MW/1,000 MWh of energy storage, accompanied by a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Arizona Public Service (APS). Avantus, Toyota Tsusho America begin construction of Norton Solar Project in Texas

Avantus and Toyota Tsusho America (TAI) have started constructing the 159 MWdc/125 MWac Norton solar project in Runnels County, Texas. The construction follows TAI’s acquisition of the Norton project from Avantus in November 2023.
