Assam signs solar and BESS deal with Oriana at investment summit

The New and Renewable Energy Department, Government of Assam (GoA), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Oriana Power Limited to develop solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects in the Kamrup district.  The agreement was formalized at the Investment and Infrastructure Summit 2025 on February 28, 2025.
