Nalco plans Rs 300 billion investment in new smelter and power plant
National Aluminium Company (Nalco) has outlined an investment of about Rs 300 billion over the next five years to establish a new aluminium smelter along with a coal-based power plant. The company has allocated around Rs 170–180 billion for the smelter project in Odisha, while approximately Rs 120 billion will be directed toward the power facility.
