Three JVs win Rs 10.67 bn contracts for Assam transmission project

Three joint ventures have secured contracts worth a total of Rs 10.67 billion under the Assam Intra-State Transmission System Enhancement Project Phase II. The contracts cover packages P-II-A, P-II-B, and P-II-D, with completion timelines of 1,095 days. The joint venture of Jakson Limited and Stelmec Limited has bagged Package P-II-A. GoI applies for loan from AIIB for Assam transmission project

The Government of India has applied for a USD 186 million loan from the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) for the Assam Intra-State Transmission System Enhancement Project Phase II.  The initiative aims to strengthen Assam’s electricity transmission system by constructing new transmission sub-stations, upgrading existing ones, and installing optical power ground wire (OPGW) in the state.

Techno Electric JV wins Rs 6.16 billion Assam transmission system project

The Joint Venture of Techno Electric and Engineering Company Limited (TEECL) and K.
