ABB has signed an agreement to acquire the power electronics business of Gamesa Electric in Spain from Siemens Gamesa.  This acquisition will strengthen ABB’s position in the growing market for high-powered renewable power conversion technology. Blykalla and ABB partner to develop SMR pilot facility in Sweden for nuclear innovation

Swedish nuclear power company Blykalla has joined forces with engineering giant ABB to develop an electric small modular reactor (SMR) pilot facility in Oskarshamn, southern Sweden.
