Six companies have submitted bids for Package II of the Tato-I Hydro Electric Project in Arunachal Pradesh. This package includes hydro-mechanical works and penstock steel liner works.
The bidders are K.S.K. Fabricators and Erectors, Om Infra, PES Engineers, Precision Infratech, P&R Infraprojects, and Abir Infrastructure. North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO) had invited bids in December 2024.
The work is valued at Rs 631.33 million and is expected to be completed in 900 days.
NEEPCO is developing the 186 MW project in Shi Yomi District. It will have three units of 62 MW each. Once operational, it is expected to generate 802 million units annually. The full project is estimated to cost Rs 17.50 billion and is scheduled for completion in 50 months.
