Schneider Electric has formed a strategic partnership with Noida International Airport to implement advanced building and energy management systems. This collaboration aims to enhance the airport’s operational efficiency and sustainability through comprehensive building management technologies, including Electrical SCADA and Advanced Distribution Management Systems.
The partnership will optimize energy use, lower operational costs, and reduce environmental impact by integrating renewable energy sources and intelligent building management systems. Schneider Electric’s automation and control technologies will improve overall airport operations while minimizing energy consumption and carbon emissions.
The company will deploy its digital solutions for monitoring and controlling various Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) services at the airport. This includes managing HVAC systems such as Air Handling Units, Treated Fresh Air units, and Dedicated Outdoor Air Systems, alongside electrical systems involving Low Tension and High-Tension Panels, Sub Main Distribution Boards, and Multifunction Meters. Plumbing systems, focusing on pumps and water meters, will also be part of the solution.
Additionally, Schneider Electric will integrate subsystems such as Baggage Handling Systems and Passenger Boarding Bridges to streamline airport operations. The solutions will help Noida International Airport achieve its sustainability objectives through energy and KPI dashboards that monitor and analyze energy consumption.
Schneider Electric will support maintenance, upgrades, and scalability of these systems, ensuring seamless communication through open protocols like BACnet, Modbus, and API. The company has been involved with the airport since its design stages, ensuring it is prepared to manage increased passenger traffic while maintaining high service standards.
