PFCCL establishes SPV for Wahipora and Sallar Transmission project

PFC Consulting Limited (PFCCL) has established Wahipora and Sallar Transmission Limited for the transmission project involving the construction of grid substations at Wahipora and Sallar in Kashmir.
The project encompasses the downstream transmission network from the upcoming 400/220 kV Grid Sub-Station at Siot, Rajouri, as well as a new 220 kV grid substation at Bhagthali, Kathua, including a 220 kV line and Line-In Line-Out (LILO) tapping from the existing 220 kV Saran-Hiranagar line.
In February 2024, Jammu and Kashmir Power Transmission Corporation Limited (JKPTCL) designated PFCCL as the bid process coordinator (BPC) for this project. PFCCL then appointed N K Enterprises in August 2024 as the technical consultant to conduct the survey and prepare the project report.
