OX2 sells 119 MW solar farm in Victoria

OX2 has agreed to divest a 119 MW alternating current (MWac) solar farm in Victoria, Australia, to an undisclosed buyer. As part of the agreement, OX2 will oversee the construction process on behalf of the new owner and will also manage the technical and commercial aspects of the project under a five-year management contract. The solar farm is expected to be operational by 2027 and will generate 242 gigawatt hours (GWh) of electricity annually, enough to power 51,000 households.

OX2’s development portfolio in Australia now includes 1 GW of solar projects and 230 MW of energy storage projects.

In August 2024, OX2 also divested a 50MW/110MWh battery energy storage project in Finland to the L&G NTR Clean Power Fund.
