NHPC floats tender for 1.2 GW ISTS-connected solar power projects

NHPC Limited has issued a tender for setting up 1.2 GW of interstate transmission system (ISTS)-connected solar power projects across India, with an optional greenshoe capacity (Tranche-IX). The projects can be located anywhere in India, with a bid submission deadline of November 4, 2024.

The maximum capacity a bidder can secure is 600 MW, extendable to 1200 MW with the greenshoe option. For projects in northeastern states and special category regions, the minimum capacity is 30 MW.
