The New and Green Energy of Assam Limited (NGEAL) has floated a tender for the supply, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of a 25 MW/100 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at the 400 kV Kurkurmara (Mirza) grid substation in Kamrup district, Assam. The last date for bid submission is November 25, 2024.
Bidders must submit a bid security of Rs 10 million and a document fee of Rs 23,600. The project must be completed within 12 months, and the contract includes a 12-year O&M period. The scope of work covers all aspects from design, procurement, and installation to commissioning and civil, electrical, and instrumentation works. It also includes the extension of a 132kV bay and the provision of spares and tools.
Bidders must have experience with grid-connected solar PV projects totalling at least 100 MW, with one project of 25 MW or greater. Additionally, they must have completed work orders meeting specific financial thresholds within the last five years and have at least five years of experience in O&M of energy storage or solar PV projects. An annual turnover of at least Rs 170 million over the past three financial years is also required.
