N. K. Enterprises has been awarded contracts for survey and report preparation as a technical consultant for three transmission expansion projects in Maharashtra.
The first project, “Network Expansion Scheme in Maharashtra for Evacuation of Renewable Energy Power from Dharashiv, Beed District,” involves the development of 400 kV, 220 kV, and 132 kV transmission lines and substations to integrate renewable energy into the grid.
The second project, “Network Expansion Scheme in Maharashtra for Providing Supply to Data Centre Loads in Navi Mumbai,” includes a 765 kV transmission line, a 765/400/220 kV GIS substation, and provisions for future connectivity for data centres.
The third project, “Network Expansion Scheme in Maharashtra for Removal of Transmission Constraints in Pune Region-I (765/400 kV Pune East),” aims to enhance the transmission network to address existing power supply challenges in the region.
The Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MSETCL) has appointed PFC Consulting Limited (PFCCL) as the bid process coordinator (BPC) for selecting transmission service providers (TSP) through a tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) process for these projects.
