Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology (MAHAPREIT) has issued a tender for 3.2 MW of distributed solar power, which will supply energy to Chandrapur Zilla Parishad in Maharashtra. The project, estimated at Rs 23.01 million, must be commissioned within 360 days from the work order date. Bids must be submitted by October 11, 2024.
The scope of work includes design, engineering, supply, and commissioning with net metering, along with operation and maintenance for five years. Bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of Rs 2.5 million, a tender fee of Rs 25,000, and a banker solvency certificate for Rs 8 million. They should have a turnover of Rs 200 million over the past five years and relevant solar project experience, including a single order of 200 kW and a cumulative capacity of 1,500 kW.
In September 2024, MAHAPREIT and NTPC Green Energy formed a joint venture to develop 10 GW of renewable energy projects. MAHAPREIT also floated a request for proposals in August 2024 to install 100 MW of distributed solar projects across Maharashtra.
