Kosol Energie Private Limited has secured a Rs 4.85 billion contract for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) package of the 100 MW Gujarat Solar PV Project – Phase XII under Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL).

The Letter of Award (LoA) was issued on February 20, 2025.

Coal India Limited (CIL) had invited bids for the project in September 2024. The contract requires Kosol Energie to take over the project on an “As Is Where Is Basis,” utilize supplied materials, complete pending work, and commission the 100 MW/146.5 MWp solar photovoltaic (PV) grid-connected power plant.

The company will also provide five years of comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) services.

The project, spanning 320 acres in Bhadramili and Jabadia villages of Banaskantha, Gujarat, will be developed with 212 acres provided by CIL, while the EPC contractor will acquire the remaining land.

The balance work is expected to be completed within 10 months from the LoA issuance.
