Kenya Electricity Transmission has entered into a $1.3 billion public-private partnership (PPP) with India’s Adani Group and Africa50, the infrastructure investment platform of the African Development Bank (ADB). The partnership aims to enhance Kenya’s power transmission infrastructure, with the concession awarded to build transmission lines confirmed by David Ndii, chief economic adviser to President William Ruto.
