JSW secures 230 MW renewable energy contract from SECI

JSW Energy’s wholly-owned subsidiary, JSW Neo Energy Limited, has been awarded a contract to supply 230 MW of power from its renewable energy project by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). This contract was secured through a tariff-based competitive bidding process, emphasizing the company’s strong position in the renewable energy sector.

The new contract brings JSW Energy’s total locked-in generation capacity to 16.4 GW, including 2.3 GW of hybrid renewable energy. The company aims to expand its installed capacity to 10 GW by fiscal year 2025, up from the current 7.5 GW, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable energy growth.
