Hartek Group’s Power System business unit has secured a Rs 1.17 billion project in Gujarat from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL).
The project involves the extension of a 765kV AIS substation and 400/220kV substation work.
Simarpreet Singh, Group Executive Director & CEO, highlighted the significance of the project in reinforcing Hartek’s leadership in the Extra High Voltage (EHV) segment and its role in India’s grid expansion.
In July 2024, Hartek secured a 765 KV power systems project from PGCIL. Simultaneously, the company also crossed 10 GW of combined capacity across its business units.
In 2024, 10,273 ckm of transmission lines (220 kV and above), 71,197 Mega Volt Ampere (MVA) of transformation capacity, and 2,200 MW of inter-regional transfer capacity were added to India’s transmission infrastructure.
