Ganpati Infrapower Private Limited has secured a Rs 1,418 million contract to build a 2×5 MVA, 33/11 kV substation at Shri Kedarnath Dham Ji in Uttarakhand.

The tender was floated by Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited (UPCL) in December 2024. Following a competitive bidding process, Ganpati Infrapower emerged as the winning bidder.

The project involves complete construction of the substation infrastructure. The work is scheduled to be completed in 3 years.

This substation aims to improve power infrastructure in the high-altitude temple town, especially to handle the increased electricity load during pilgrimage periods.
