Exicom has signed a memorandum of understanding with EONEX Energy, a DVN Energy Group-backed company, to deploy megawatt-hour-scale lithium-ion battery energy storage systems across Southern India. The partnership focuses on commercial, industrial and renewable integrated applications.
The two companies plan to jointly develop and install systems intended to support peak load management. The systems will be designed to improve the use of solar power through advanced storage integration and to provide a reliable supply for commercial and industrial consumers.
Exicom is based in Gurugram and works on electric vehicle charging infrastructure. It also supplies energy storage systems for critical telecom and data centre uses. Exicom stated that the collaboration advances its aim to expand the use of clean and reliable energy technologies.
The companies expect the joint work to support wider adoption of high-performance storage solutions. They plan to strengthen their presence in the green energy segment and contribute to India’s transition to a more resilient power system.
