EIE Renewables wins WBSEDCL 10 MW rooftop solar auction

EIE Renewables Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Enviro Infra, has emerged as the successful bidder in a rooftop solar auction conducted by the West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company (WBSEDCL). The project involves the installation of 10 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar systems across multiple districts in West Bengal.

The rooftop systems will be deployed across eight districts. Medinipur, Bankura, Kolkata South, and Kolkata North will each host 1.5 MW of capacity. Bardhaman, Berhampore, Malda, and Siliguri will each have installations of 1 MW.

The approximate work cost for installations in Medinipur, Bankura, Kolkata South, and Kolkata North is Rs 58.5 million. The projects in Bardhaman, Berhampore, Malda, and Siliguri have an estimated work cost of Rs 39 million.

According to the tender conditions, the installations are required to be completed within seven months from the date of the letter of award.
