Gensol Engineering establishes three wholly-owned subsidiaries

Gensol Engineering Limited has incorporated three new subsidiaries: Innogrid Energy Private Limited, Hari Shakti Energy, and Shakti Sangini Energy Private Limited.  Gensol has subscribed to 10,000 equity shares in each subsidiary, representing 100 percent of their total share capital, with an investment of Rs 100,000 per company. These subsidiaries are now wholly-owned by Gensol Engineering.

SRPC proposes 6,000 MW reverse capacity upgrade for Raigarh-Pugalur HVDC system

The Southern Regional Power Committee (SRPC) has proposed enhancing the reverse transfer capacity of the ±800kV, 6000 MW Raigarh-Pugalur HVDC system from 3,000 MW to 6,000 MW. The National Committee on Transmission (NCT) is expected to discuss this proposal in its upcoming meeting later this month. KEI Industries completes capacity expansion at Chinchpada and Pathredi plants

KEI Industries Ltd has completed brownfield capacity expansions at its Chinchpada (Silvassa, Dadra Nagar Haveli, and Daman & Diu) and Pathredi (Rajasthan) cable manufacturing units in the first half (H1) of FY25.  The expansions, fully commissioned between April and September 2024, have increased the company’s low-tension (LT) cable capacity to approximately Rs 9 billion annually. India’s data centre capacity set to double by FY27

Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology (MAHAPREIT) has launched a tender for the installation of 30 MW of distributed grid-connected rooftop solar systems on government buildings in Goa.  The project scope includes design, supply, installation, commissioning, and five years of maintenance.
