Bondada Engineering secures 170.4 MW solar project contract in Maharashtra

Bondada Engineering Ltd announced that it has received a Letter of Award to set up 170.40 MW (DC) of grid-connected distributed solar power plants in Maharashtra. These projects will be developed under the state government’s Mukhya Mantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0.

The projects have been awarded by the power purchase agreement (PPA) owners, Paradigm IT Technologies and Metalcraft Forming Industries, both software companies based in India. Bondada’s responsibilities include the design, survey, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of grid-connected solar power plants aimed at solarizing selected agri-feeders at the substation level within the jurisdiction of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. (MSEDCL). The scope also includes setting up the associated 11 kV line to connect the plants with the relevant substations and implementing a remote monitoring system for the solar power plants.

These solar projects will be developed across various districts in Maharashtra, with a total contract value of Rs 5.76 billion.
