Amara Raja Infra Private Limited (ARIPL) secured a contract from Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) for the Balance of System (BoS) package of a 300 MW/390 MW solar project at Ramagiri, Andhra Pradesh.

The contract is valued at Rs 5.45 billion. SECI had invited bids in March 2024.

The scope includes the design, engineering, procurement, supply, and commissioning of equipment, excluding PV modules, along with civil works, installation, testing, and insurance. ARIPL will also manage the project’s operation and maintenance (O&M) for five years. 

The 300 MW grid-connected solar power plant is part of the 1,200 MW Grid Connected Solar PV Power Project (CPSU Tranche-III), under the 12,000 MW Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) scheme Phase-II, with viability gap funding (VGF) support. SECI is implementing the project on a build, own, and operate (BOO) basis.

In another development, Ganesh Green Bharat Limited won a Rs 787.92 million contract from Solberry Energy Private Limited for a 50 MW solar power project in Mehsana, Gujarat, which is to be completed by March 2025. Ganesh Green will supply solar photovoltaic (PV) modules with a minimum rated capacity of 590 Wp for the project.
