WattBridge begins operations at 384 MW Remy Jade station in Texas

US-based independent power producer WattBridge Energy has commenced commercial operations at its 384 MW Remy Jade generating station in Harris County, Texas. Equipped with eight 48 MW aero-derivative gas turbine packages, the facility provides dispatchable power for two million homes, enhancing the stability and reliability of the local energy infrastructure, especially when renewable generation falls short.

This marks WattBridge’s sixth plant in four years, bringing its operational portfolio to over 2.3 GW. The company has submitted proposals for an additional 1.6 GW to the Texas Energy Fund (TEF), aiming to nearly double its capacity to 5 GW in the state.

PROENERGY delivered the plant as a turnkey PowerFLX solution, supporting WattBridge’s growing LM6000 turbine fleet.
