Sunkind secures 250 MWp distributed open access solar EPC orders
Sunkind India Limited has secured multiple distributed open access solar Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) orders with a combined capacity of around 250 MWp till July 2026. The projects span commercial and industrial (C&I) customers across the steel, packaging, manufacturing and independent power producer (IPP) segments in Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab and Tamil Nadu, strengthening the company’s order book and expanding its execution footprint across India.
The latest order wins reflect continued growth in the distributed open access market, where C&I consumers are increasingly adopting renewable energy to reduce electricity costs, improve energy security and meet sustainability targets.
The orders cover ground-mounted distributed open access solar projects across multiple states. According to the company, the projects further diversify its portfolio while strengthening its presence in the rapidly growing distributed open access renewable energy segment.
