Vikran Engineering commissions 132 kV Miao–Namsai transmission line in Arunachal Pradesh
Vikran Engineering has commissioned the 132 kV Miao–Namsai Transmission Line in Arunachal Pradesh, completing 40.630 km of transmission infrastructure across challenging terrain in the state.
The project comprises 138 tower foundations, including two pile foundations constructed under difficult geological conditions. Given its strategic importance for strengthening Arunachal Pradesh’s power infrastructure, execution of the transmission line was closely monitored by the Ministry of Power, Government of India.

The newly commissioned line is expected to strengthen the power supply network in Arunachal Pradesh and improve the reliability of the existing transmission system.
It will also help connect remote areas to the National Grid and support the evacuation and integration of upcoming hydropower projects across the North Eastern Region (NER).
The project was executed in difficult terrain and involved challenging geological conditions, particularly for the construction of two pile foundations among the 138 tower foundations completed along the 40.630 km transmission line.
