SJVN appoints Arti Kujur as independent director

SJVN Limited has informed the stock exchanges that the Ministry of Power (MoP), Government of India, has appointed Smt. Arti Kujur as an Independent Director on the company’s Board.

According to the ministry’s order dated July 15, 2026, the appointment is effective from July 15, 2026, and will remain valid for a period of three years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

SJVN disclosed the appointment through a regulatory filing submitted to the stock exchanges.

The company stated that Smt. Kujur is not related to any member of the Board of Directors of SJVN. It also confirmed that she is not debarred from holding the office of director by any order issued by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) or any other authority.

SJVN noted that the detailed professional profile of Smt. Kujur will be submitted separately to the stock exchanges once received.

The appointment follows the issuance of the Ministry of Power’s notification and takes effect immediately from the date of the order.
