Advait Energy wins PGVCL underground cabling contracts worth Rs 250 crore
Advait Energy Transitions Limited (formerly Advait Infratech Limited) has secured four turnkey contracts from Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL) for the conversion of existing overhead 11 kV HT and LT line networks into underground cable networks with ring main systems across multiple locations in Gujarat. The combined value of the four contracts is approximately Rs 250.59 crore.
All four contracts were awarded on July 9, 2026, under PGVCL’s SI Scheme for strengthening and modernising the distribution network. Each project also includes GIS Mapping/Geo Urja Mapping developed by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) and asset tagging.
Contract details
The contracts cover Adhewada (Akwada) Subdivision in Bhavnagar Circle (Package-18) valued at Rs 58.25 crore, Ranavav Subdivision in Porbandar Circle (Package-58) valued at Rs 52.57 crore, Mandvi-city Subdivision in Bhuj Circle (Package-43) valued at Rs 64.20 crore, and Udyognagar Subdivision (Part-1) in Porbandar Circle (Package-61) valued at Rs 75.56 crore.
Project scope
The turnkey scope includes site survey, design and engineering, procurement and supply of materials, transportation, insurance, storage, installation, testing and commissioning, along with documentation of all materials required for project completion.
The projects involve converting existing 11 kV HT and LT line networks, including consumer service lines, into underground cable networks with ring main systems. The scope also includes GIS Mapping/Geo Urja Mapping and asset tagging.
All four contracts are domestic projects awarded by PGVCL and have an execution timeline of 18 months.
The company stated that neither its promoters, promoter group nor group companies have any interest in PGVCL, and the contracts do not constitute related party transactions.
