Konstec Engineers, HCC form JV for nuclear infrastructure projects in India
Konstec Engineers Limited has entered into a Joint Venture (JV) agreement with Hindustan Construction Company Limited (HCC) to jointly bid for and execute nuclear infrastructure projects in India.
The JV has been formed to undertake Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) services for nuclear infrastructure projects, including the design, engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of isotope production reactor facilities and associated civil, electrical, mechanical, process, instrumentation & control, and auxiliary systems.
JV structure
Under the agreement, HCC will hold a 74% stake in the JV, while Konstec Engineers will hold the remaining 26%.
According to the company, the JV has been established to participate in upcoming tenders and, if successful, execute projects in accordance with tender conditions and the terms of the Joint Venture Agreement.
The companies said the partnership combines HCC’s infrastructure execution capabilities with Konstec Engineers’ expertise in engineering and electrical EPC services to pursue opportunities in India’s nuclear infrastructure sector.
