GREW Solar has received a repeat order worth about Rs 500 crore from an independent power producer (IPP) for the supply of its M10R solar modules for upcoming utility-scale solar projects across multiple locations in India.
The order follows the successful and timely delivery of an earlier supply to the same developer. The modules to be supplied use tunnel oxide passivated contact (TOPCon) cell technology with a 144 half-cut cell configuration designed to reduce power loss and maintain stable performance in high-temperature conditions.
The modules come with a 15-year product warranty and a 30-year linear performance warranty.
Commenting on the development, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Director Vinay Thadani said the repeat order reflects developer confidence in the quality and reliability of the company’s modules. He added that rising electricity demand, including record levels seen as early as February this year, is increasing the requirement for dependable solar solutions. According to Thadani, the company aims to support developers in faster project execution while contributing to the expansion of India’s clean energy capacity.
