ACME Solar Holdings Limited announced on February 10, 2026 that it has secured two renewable energy contracts with a combined capacity of 521 MW. The awards include a 301 MW firm power project from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) and a 220 MW solar-storage hybrid project from Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited (RUMSL).
The larger award is a 301 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project won under SECI’s Tranche VII tender. The project has been secured at a tariff of Rs 6.28 per unit and is structured to provide assured peak power supply. The Scheduled Commercial Operation Date is set at 24 months from the signing of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), with a contract tenure of 25 years.
In a parallel development, ACME Solar received a Letter of Award from RUMSL for a 220 MW solar project integrated with a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at the Morena Solar Park in Madhya Pradesh. The project was awarded at a tariff of Rs 2.764 per unit and is required to be commissioned by December 31, 2027. It involves the supply of four hours of daily peak power and is backed by a 25-year PPA.
The two contracts expand ACME Solar’s portfolio across different renewable technologies and tariff structures. While the SECI project focuses on firm and dispatchable capacity, the RUMSL award combines solar generation with storage to support peak-time demand. The company stated that neither of the contracts involves any related-party transactions.
Following these wins, ACME Solar’s under-construction portfolio has crossed 5,100 MW.
