Genus Power Infrastructures Limited has announced the appointment of a senior executive director and approved its financial results for the third quarter ended December 31, 2025. The decisions were taken at a meeting of the Board of Directors held on February 9, 2026.
The board approved the appointment of Nathu Lal Nama as an Additional and Whole Time Director (Executive Director) for a period of two years, effective February 9, 2026, subject to shareholder approval. Mr. Nama, a Chartered Accountant with nearly four decades of experience, will continue in his role as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), a position he has held since May 2018. The board also approved the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2025.
For Q3 FY26, the company reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 140.2 crore, compared with Rs 56.7 crore in the same quarter last year. Revenue from operations increased 85.8% year-on-year to Rs 1,122 crore from Rs 604 crore.
Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) rose to Rs 212.5 crore from Rs 92.7 crore a year earlier. The operating margin improved to 18.9% from 15.3%, reflecting stronger operating leverage during the quarter.
As of December 31, 2025, the company reported an executable order book of Rs 27,217 crore, excluding taxes, indicating strong revenue visibility.
