Bajaj Electricals enters wiring segment with Secura Wires launch

Bajaj Electricals Limited has announced its entry into the wiring segment with the launch of Bajaj Secura Wires under its Lighting Solutions business. The move expands the company’s domestic portfolio of electrical products beyond lighting and appliances.
In a regulatory filing dated February 3, 2026, Bajaj Electricals informed the stock exchanges that the launch was made in accordance with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Listing Regulations. The company said the new range is intended to meet rising demand for safe and reliable residential wiring solutions. The product lineup includes four variants: Secura (FR), Secura Plus (HR-FR), Secura Green (FR-LSH), and Secura Green Plus (ZH-FR).
As per the company’s press release, the wires are manufactured using copper with over 99.9% purity and feature flame retardant and halogen free insulation. The products are designed to be moisture resistant and offer anti termite and anti rodent protection. The range complies with RoHS and REACH standards and is available in sizes ranging from 0.75 sqmm to 6.00 sqmm, offered in 90 metre and 180 metre coil packs.
Commenting on the launch, Mr. Rajesh Naik, Chief Operating Officer for Lighting Solutions at Bajaj Electricals Limited, said the entry into wiring is part of a broader strategy to build an integrated electrical solutions portfolio. He added that the company aims to strengthen its presence across the residential and commercial electrical ecosystem, with a focus on safety and performance.
