NGEL commissions 37.5 MW phase of Bhuj solar project

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL) has commenced commercial operations of a 37.5 MW segment of a solar power project located in Bhuj, Gujarat.
In a regulatory disclosure to the stock exchanges, NGEL stated that the third phase of the 150 MW solar project achieved commercial operation on January 17, 2026. The project is owned by Ayana Renewable Power Four Private Limited, a subsidiary of Ayana Renewable Power Private Limited, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the joint venture ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited.
Following the commissioning of this 37.5 MW capacity, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited group has increased to 8,347.78 MW, up from the earlier commercial capacity of 8,310.28 MW.
The commissioning reflects the continued expansion of NGEL’s renewable energy portfolio through phased project execution.
