Solarworld Energy secures Rs 725 crore EPC order from NTPC

Solarworld Energy Solutions Limited announced that it has received a Letter of Award for the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction package of a 250 MWac grid-connected solar power project. 

The order, issued by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, is valued at about Rs 725.33 crore, including taxes. The project is expected to be completed in the financial year 2026-27.

In a separate disclosure dated December 22, 2025, the company stated that its wholly owned subsidiary, Znshine Solarworld Private Limited, has been included in List-I of the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers under the ALMM Order, 2019. The approval issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy covers an annual manufacturing capacity of 1.552 GW and is valid until 21 December 2029. This enables the subsidiary to supply solar modules to grid-connected projects in India where ALMM compliance is mandatory.
