Emmvee Photovoltaic Power Limited has commenced operations at a new solar module manufacturing line through its wholly owned subsidiary Emmvee Energy Private Limited (EEPL).
The 2.5 GW solar module line has been commissioned at EEPL’s Unit VI facility located at Sulibele in Hoskote Taluk, Bengaluru, Karnataka. Commercial production began on 20 December 2025.
The company disclosed the development to BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited on 20 December 2025. According to the filing, the commissioning forms part of the capacity expansion plan disclosed earlier in the offer documents filed in connection with the company’s initial public offer. Emmvee said the project has been completed within the planned timeline outlined at the time of the public issue.
With the commissioning of the new line, Emmvee Photovoltaic Power Limited’s total installed solar module manufacturing capacity has increased to 10.3 GW. The addition of 2.5 GW marks a key scale milestone for the company’s manufacturing operations.
The company said the expansion strengthens its manufacturing base in India and supports its growth plans in the domestic solar market. The increased capacity is expected to enhance its ability to supply large-scale solar projects and improve economies of scale.
