Schneider Electric appoints Amit Sharma as VP for Power Products and Digital Energy

Schneider Electric has appointed Amit Sharma as Vice President of Power Products and Digital Energy for the Greater India Zone, effective immediately. He succeeds Nikhil Pathak. In his new role, Sharma will focus on expanding the Power Products and Digital Energy businesses, strengthening software and digital power solutions, and driving innovation and customer engagement.

Deepak Sharma, Zone President, Greater India, and MD & CEO of Schneider Electric India, said Amit Sharma brings over 29 years of experience, including 15 years with Schneider Electric, where he has led key global and domestic roles.

Amit Sharma has previously served in France as part of Schneider Electric’s global leadership team, overseeing marketing, digital transformation, and product development for the Medium Voltage (MV) segment. He was also instrumental in developing the global MV AIS portfolio and the “India for India” Power Systems initiative. Before joining Schneider Electric, he spent 14 years with ABB.
