India’s renewable energy companies reported solid financial performance for FY 2025-26, driven by higher earnings and improved margins.
NTPC Green Energy reported a net profit of Rs 88 crore, up from Rs 38 crore the previous year. Revenue grew 21.5% to Rs 612.3 crore, and EBITDA rose 26% to Rs 529.6 crore. Margins improved to 86.5% from 83.4%.
Adani Green Energy reported a 25% rise in net profit to Rs 644 crore compared with Rs 515 crore last year. Revenue was steady at Rs 3,008 crore, while EBITDA increased 17.4% to Rs 2,603 crore. Margins expanded to 86.5% from 73.8%.
Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) recorded revenue of Rs 20.57 billion in Q2 FY 2025-26, up 26% from Rs 16.30 billion last year. Profit after tax rose 41% to Rs 5.49 billion. Loan sanctions increased by 145% to Rs 214.08 billion, and disbursements rose by 81% to Rs 80.62 billion.
Waaree Renewable Technologies reported revenue of Rs 7.74 billion in Q2 FY 2025-26, a 47.7% increase year-on-year. EBITDA more than doubled to Rs 1.57 billion.
Saatvik Green Energy posted revenue of Rs 9.15 billion in Q1 FY 2025-26, up 272% year-on-year, with EBITDA rising 346% to Rs 1.81 billion.
