Tata Power Skill Development Institute (TPSDI) has launched a new green energy skill centre in Rohini, New Delhi. The centre will train individuals in key renewable energy technologies, including solar photovoltaic systems, energy storage, pumped hydro storage, and electrical safety.
The training programs will cover installation, commissioning, operations, and maintenance. These have been designed to match the standards of the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) and include NCVT-approved Qualification Packs. TPSDI’s curriculum is aligned with national priorities such as the PM Surya Ghar Yojana under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s (MNRE) skilling framework.
TPSDI is a dedicated skill-building initiative by Tata Power. It offers more than 200 modular courses across green energy, power systems, transmission and distribution, safety, and soft skills. TPSDI has conducted training across 43 locations, including international sites in Bhutan, Ethiopia, and Liberia.
