Hazoor Multi Projects Limited (HMPL) has secured an EPC contract worth Rs 9,130 million from Apollo Green Energy Limited. The contract is for the 200 MW Khavda Solar PV Project – Phase XVII (NHPC) in Gujarat. The Letter of Award (LoA) was issued on July 4, 2025.

Apollo Green had won this project from NHPC Limited in August 2024. NHPC, in turn, secured the 200 MW capacity at a tariff of Rs 2.73 per kWh through a Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) auction in May 2023. The tender was floated by NHPC under GUVNL’s Phase XVII programme.

The project is located at the Khavda Solar Park (GSECL Stage 1) in the Kutch district. HMPL’s scope includes complete EPC services such as design, engineering, procurement, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of the 200 MW grid-connected solar project. Completion is targeted by March 2026.

Separately, Sun Drops Energia Private Limited, a subsidiary of KPI Green Energy Limited, also received an LoA on July 4, 2025. Avichal Power Private Limited awarded the contract for EPC works of a 100 MW solar project in Gujarat.

This project covers engineering, civil, electrical, and structural works, supply of module mounting systems and Balance of Plant (BoP) materials, and long-term operations and maintenance.
