Dharan Infra EPC Limited has approved the creation of a new wholly-owned subsidiary called Dharan Infra Solar Private Limited.
The new company will focus on setting up solar power projects across the country. Its activities will also include manufacturing, design, development, and improvement of renewable energy modules, solar cells, and related accessories.
Dharan Infra Solar plans to conduct research and be active in trading, buying, selling, assembling, repairing, maintaining, and operating solar power systems. It will also work on hybrid projects that combine solar photovoltaic technology with other renewable sources.
Dharan Infra EPC Ltd, established in 2006–07 in Nashik, is a public listed company known for its Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) work. It has a global presence and focuses heavily on large-scale infrastructure projects.
The company is active in sectors such as energy, transport, water, and urban development. Its portfolio includes railways, roads, bridges, hydro dams, solar farms, waste-to-energy plants, low-cost housing, and ports.
