SEPC Power wins contract for 133 MW solar in Maharashtra

SEPC Power Private Limited has received a Letter of Award (LoA) worth Rs 6,500 million from Parmeshi Urja Limited on June 10, 2025. The contract is for setting up a cumulative 133 MW decentralised solar power capacity in Maharashtra. Parmeshi Urja is a wholly-owned subsidiary of India Power Corporation Limited (IPCL).
The project is part of a broader 225 MW decentralised solar initiative for feeder-level solarisation under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY) 2.0. This initiative falls under Component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) program.
SEPC’s scope includes design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and full operations and maintenance (O&M) services.
This project supports the Government of Maharashtra’s target to solarize at least 30 percent of agricultural feeders. The broader goal is to set up 16,000 MW of decentralised solar capacity for agriculture consumers by 2026.
