Navlai Infra bags award for 37 MW solar projects in Maharashtra

Navlai Infra has secured a Letter of Award worth Rs 1,697.5 million for setting up a total of 37 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) power projects. These will be installed at multiple locations along the Hindu Hrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg (HHBTMSM) Expressway in Maharashtra.

The award is part of the 250 MW solar PV project led by Mahasamruddhi Renewable Energy Limited (MREL), a special purpose vehicle of Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation Limited (MSRDC). Bids were invited by MSRDC in October 2024.

The project includes:

  • A 16 MW solar plant at Igatpuri through open access

  • A 14 MW solar plant at Kopergaon through open access

  • A cumulative 7 MW rooftop solar capacity at various MSRDC locations through net metering

The scope of work covers design, engineering, supply, installation, erection, testing, and commissioning. It also includes seven years of comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M).

The projects are expected to be completed within 10 months from the LoA date.
