Adani Renewable Energy Fifty Seven Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), has begun commercial operations of a 275 MW solar power project in the Khavda Wind-Solar Hybrid Renewable Energy Power Park.
The project is located in the Rann of Kutch district of Gujarat and is part of the larger 30,000 MW renewable energy park.
The commissioned capacity includes 212.5 MW, with an additional 37.5 MW and 25 MW coming online on March 28, 29, and 31, 2025, respectively. The Khavda project will ultimately feature 26,000 MW of solar and 4,000 MW of wind power.
Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL) is overseeing project implementation, while AGEL is responsible for development. Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), along with Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) and the Central Electricity Authority (CEA), will develop the necessary transmission infrastructure for the project.
