The State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) of Andhra Pradesh has approved investment proposals worth Rs 183.58 billion for setting up 2,087.6 MW of renewable energy projects across the state.
The approved projects include:
- NSL Renewable CPP Private Limited: A 50 MW wind-solar hybrid power project with an investment of Rs 5.67 billion.
- Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL): A 400 MW solar power project in Anantapur, costing Rs 20 billion.
- SAEL Solar Solutions Private Limited: A 600 MW (2×300 MW) solar power project in Anantapur, Kadapa, and Nandyal, with an investment of Rs 34.56 billion.
- AMPIN Energy Transition Private Limited: A 350 MW wind-solar hybrid power project in Kurnool and Nandyal, requiring Rs 31.42 billion.
- Ayana Renewable Power Private Limited: A 498.3 MW renewable energy project in Kurnool, costing Rs 44.35 billion.
- Ecoren Energy India Private Limited: A 201.3 MW wind power project in Anantapur and Sri Sathya Sai, with an investment of Rs 16.51 billion.
- Kadapa Renewable Private Limited: A 231 MW wind power project in Sri Sathya Sai, costing Rs 11.63 billion.
- Anantapur Renewable Private Limited: A 178.2 MW wind power project in Anantapur, requiring Rs 9.72 billion.
- Aspari Renewable Private Limited: A 118.8 MW wind power project in Sri Sathya Sai, with an investment of Rs 9.72 billion.
These projects are expected to enhance Andhra Pradesh’s renewable energy capacity and attract significant private-sector investment in the state.
