PFC Consulting Limited (PFCCL) re-invited the Request for Proposal (RFP) for selecting a Transmission Service Provider (TSP) through the tariff-based competitive bidding (TBCB) process for the Eastern Region Generation Scheme-I (ERGS-I) on January 21, 2025.
The deadline for bid submission is March 25, 2025. The earlier bidding process was conducted in March 2024.
PFCCL is serving as the bid process coordinator (BPC) for the establishment of these projects through the TBCB process.
The transmission scheme involves the LILO of both circuits of Angul–Sundargarh (Jharsuguda) 765 kV 2xS/c lines at NLC-Talabira generation switchyard, with a total capacity of 50 km (25 km Loop in and 25 km Loop out). The estimated cost of the project is Rs 4.13 billion.
