Nesma Infrastructure and Technology has secured a SAR915 million contract with the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) for constructing two 380 kV substations in Riyadh, named Rumah BSP-9077 A and B.
The project includes installing line reactors at the Airport North BSP-9089 and PS3 BSP substations to strengthen Riyadh’s high-voltage transmission infrastructure. Scheduled for completion within 21 months, the initiative supports the city’s rapid urban and industrial growth.
Saudi Arabia is also advancing renewable energy under its Vision 2030 strategy, including the 300 MW Sakaka solar plant and 400 MW Dumat Al Jandal wind farm.
