Larsen & Toubro Ltd’s Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) business has secured new orders in India and the Middle East.
In India, L&T’s PT&D division will implement an advanced distribution management system (ADMS) in West Bengal. The technology integrates the Outage Management System (OMS) and Distribution Management System (DMS) functionalities, enhancing real-time monitoring and control of medium and low-voltage networks to improve reliability, fault isolation, and restoration speed.
In the Middle East, L&T has won a 380 kV substation project in Saudi Arabia to support solar generation evacuation. Additionally, the company has secured a 400 kV substation project in Kuwait and orders for several EHV substations, including a 400/132 kV substation in Dubai, expanding the Emirate’s power transmission infrastructure.
The total value of these orders is estimated between Rs 25 billion to Rs 50 billion.
