Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) by quoting Rs 6,425.65 million in Package 3 for Central zone (Ludhiana city (east), Ludhiana city (west), Ludhiana (sub), and Khanna including Fatehgarh Sahib district) for development of distribution infrastructure work for execution of low tension (LT) and high tension (HT) infrastructure loss reduction works under the Punjab Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS).

Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) invited bids for the same in September 2024.

The work is expected to be completed in 24 months.
