NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC, received an overall subscription of 2.4 times for its initial public offering (IPO) on the final day of bidding.
The IPO offered 593 million equity shares at a price band of Rs 102-108 and received bids for 1.43 billion shares, based on stock exchange data.Â
The subscription breakdown revealed that the qualified institutional buyer category was subscribed 3.32 times, the retail investor portion 3.39 times, and the non-institutional investor segment 0.81 times.Â
The reservation category was subscribed 1.57 times, while the employee portion saw a subscription rate of 0.78 times.
